The Crabbe-ology Mission
Crabbe-ology is a sports development training organization with the mission to give athletes the necessary tools to build character and to discover their true potential, on and off the field. Our training programs are interactive and unique to each athlete. At Crabbe-ology, we believe in helping our athletes Connect the Dots!
Crabble-ology was founded by Callix Crabbe, former Major League Baseball player. Callix’s journey has helped him develop a unique set of skills and experiences that he’s eager to share with athletes of all skill levels.
Born in St.Thomas, U.S.Virgin Islands, where he spent the first 15 years of his life and developed a passion for baseball at a young age. Crabbe attended Charlotte Amalie High School. After his first two years of high school, he relocated to the main land and attended Stone Mountain High in Stone Mountain (GA). Callix begin his college baseball career as an infielder at Young Harris College (GA) and later transferred to Manatee Community College in Bradenton (FL).
In 2002, he began his professional career after being selected in the 12th round by the Milwaukee Brewers. After five years in their system he made his MLB debut in March of 2008 with the San Diego Padres. He spent ten years in professional baseball, managing to play his way through every level with four different organizations (Milwaukee Brewers, San Diego Padres, Seattle Mariners , and Toronto Blue Jays).
Callix has a long history of beating the odds and this is where his passion for coaching derives. Throughout his career, he has developed a special set of skills that has allowed him to manage his game. He’s bringing Crabbe-ology to athletes and showing them how a consistent routine can ignite their passion, define their purpose, and develop their character.
